Parrswood Campus – Directions

Our Parrswood Campus is situated in the South Manchester suburb of Didsbury, close to the city centre and also to Stockport and the M60 and M56.

Road: Easy access to Manchester’s motorway ring road (M60). Air: Manchester International Airport is only 10 minutes’ drive away.
Trains: East Didsbury train station has a service into Manchester Piccadilly and to Manchester Airport.
Bus: Excellent local bus service, particularly along Wilmslow Road which is one of Europe’s busiest bus routes.

TRANSFER INFORMATION

For those arriving from overseas or even from the UK, BCSSA provides a negotiated transfer service from Manchester Airport (or Piccadilly Train Station)  to Parrswood Campus. The cost for this service is £80.00 per person for flights arriving or departing between 9.00am and 7.00pm and £100.00 for flights outside of these hours. All transfers need to be pre-arranged. For those arriving as an unaccompanied minor there is a surcharge of £150.00 for transfer irrespective of arrival/departure time.

Unaccompanied Minor is a service offered by many airlines meaning that your child is escorted through the airport and passport control/customs and that BCSSA are required to sign for receipt of the child. Most airlines will also charge an amount for this service.

After collecting their luggage, students proceed through customs. Students are then met by a representative of BCSSA who will be displaying a prominant sign. From here students will be transported to Parrswood Campus.

Transfers will take place at regular intervals throughout the day, we shall attempt to transfer you as soon as you arrive. However, if someone else is arriving at a similar time there might be a short wait for them to exit the customs area.
